Queen's Brirthday Celebrations

Today we celebrated the Queen's Birthday in style! Thank you to everyone for all the effort you put into it - our children looked great in their red, white and blue clothes and our 'Design a Crown' competition was great fun! Some of the designs were amazing, and all the children should be congratulated on the effort they have put into this.

We held a 'Garden Party' on the afternoon, and not even the rain could dampen our spirits. As well as cake and tea (well, juice!), the children took part in games that the Queen might have played as she was growing up.

We even had our very own Carr Mill Queen and ladies in waiting for the day, who met the crowds waiting for them down our school corridors!

Let me know what you thought of the day in the Headteacher's Blog tab at the top of the page.
