Curriculum Overview

Our bespoke curriculum has been tailored to meet the needs of our children and our community. Through the Learning Challenge approach it builds up the knowledge, understanding and skills to reach the intended learning outcomes for each year group as outlined in the national curriculum. Please see below the overviews and maps for Year 1 to Year 6 in each specific subject. Our assessment of these subjects focuses on the key skills needed to meet these objectives.

Y1-6 Curriculum Overviews

Due to our mixed classes and to ensure every child has full coverage of the curriculum we are running on a 2 year cycle. Cycle A and Cycle B. The documents below show in detail the coverage for the 2 cycles across each phase: Y1/2; Y3/4 and Y5/6.
