Chestnut Week 1

We have had a busy first wek back after the half term holidays. 

We have welcomed Miss Hines to Chestnut class and she will be working with us until Summer 1.

In English, we have been reading and writing about Castles. In the coming weeks, we will also be learning about Castles, Kings and Queens in our history topic. 

In Maths, we have completed our Addition and Subtraction within 20 topic. Next week, we start our new topic, Place Value to 50.

In PSHE, we have been learning about Healthy Lifetsyles; the importance of healthy eating, exercise, sleep and keeping clean. We have also learnt about how to stay safe in the sun and ways to avoid too much screen time. 

In Computing, we have been using Code Studio to control an on-screen animation. 

Next week:

Parent's Evening will be held on Monday 3rd March and Wednesday 5th March. Please select an appointment time on Spider, if you have not already.
