Rowan - SPRING 2 WEEK 3

Happy Friday!!!!!

We have had a wonderful week – starting with our trip to York on Monday. I think it is safe to say we would not want to have been living during the Viking times! There are some pictures below…

We have been reading ‘The Nowhere Emporium’ again this week and have been giving some really exciting ideas as to where we think Mr Silver is and what is going to happen to him. Next week, we will be creating our own experience in one of the wonderful rooms!

In History this week, we have continued working on the Vikings and found it very interesting to learn all about Alfred the Great. We have even found out why he was called this!

Maths has been negative numbers this week and we have explored reasoning questions in detail. Today, we have had another look at arithmetic style questions too!

Next week we have got our Y5 trip to the library on Monday and it is the start of the Easter attendance competition! Be sure to ask your child about this!
